with the MA Students in interRelational Art Practices at Minerva Art Academy
we’re simmering is 3-days workshop held at b.a.k basecamp. The programme explored the relationship between soup-making and commons, dived into the political and cultural dimensions of recipes, as archives and vessels for (hi)stories, and embarked in different activities, exercises, and stories in order to relate to food as more than something you buy, sell or own for empty nourishment or profit.
During the 3 days we were cooking, sharing meals and stories, writing speculative soup recipes, co-creating and farming.
