leftover.prep is a collaboration between Gea Cignozzi and Rebekka Bank. They met in a kitchen, where they discovered a shared passion for cooking as a creative practice for storytelling, transformation and connection. While shaping and being shaped by food, their work creates immersive experiences that can broaden the perception of what food is and can be: a transformative and creative material, nourishment, for humans and non-human Others in order to unveil (hi)stories and connections.

By turning eating into an occasion to feed our senses as well as our thoughts, they like to pair food with workshops, interactive installations and games, sharing untold stories about food systems, to feed curiosity and nurture care towards what is around us.

Currently, leftover.prep operates over long distances: stretching from Tuscan hills to the Dutch wetlands where their creative "hypha" keep feeding connections and projects.
