(the silent kitchen) is an interactive installation revolving around slow and quiet cooking techniques. An imaginative culinary space in which we approach cooking through silence. We are waiting for the sprouting of a bean, straining out beverages drop by drop and drying herbs to preserve their aroma in infusions.

In opposition to a world where noise often defines our relation to food and where loud industries and lobbies are setting the narrative and practices that shape the journey of food and our relation to it, we create a moment of stillness. A moment, to carefully listen to the untold stories about our crops, remember forgotten plant varieties, lost recipes and our connection to something as small as a seed.
Through bits and bites we encourage you to chew on information and together imagine: what happens when we break through the noise to amplify what was silenced?
