rock particles and bread-baking,
remembering and forgetting,
taxonomy and supermarkets,
seeds, tea bags, raindrops
and walking.

‘all forgotten things (and the sound of a quintillion tiny shivering leaves)’ is an autofictional work as well as an analysis of ecosystems from the perspective of present trends in thinking about care for the environment. Through storytelling and poetic writing it addresses feelings of alienation and a longing for everything that lies beyond the urban landscape.

After waking up one morning with the feeling of having forgotten something, I am taken on a journey through fictional forests, botanical terminology and histories of agriculture. Writing my way into answers while searching for a ‘forgotten thing’ which has slipped away from collective remembrance in the rush of a hyper-productive society.
